Shapes-04.png

Emily is a vibrant and dedicated Occupational Therapist with extensive experience in paediatric care, both clinically and as a disability support worker. She is passionate about working with children and supporting mental health, striving to make a lasting difference in the lives of the families she works with.

Emily’s interest in child development and mental health was further shaped during her fourth year of university, where she completed a rural placement with the Department of Child Protection. During this placement, Emily collaborated with the community to understand the needs of children and their families. This led her to design a sensory wall and create valuable resources aimed at fostering connection and communication within families.

Emily is known for her compassionate, client-centred approach, evidence-based practice, and strong communication and collaboration skills. She has conducted numerous paediatric assessments and developed tailored therapy plans, integrating play-based activities to engage children in therapy. Additionally, she provides parents with support and education to help them achieve therapy goals at home.

Emily is excited to bring her creativity and expertise to her role, empowering children and families to thrive!
