MOLLY MADDAFORD
Occupational Therapist

Molly completed her Occupational Therapy studies at the University of South Australia, graduating with first class honours.
Molly is enthusiastic about making a meaningful impact on those she works with. Personally, she values the importance of connection, believing that the best outcomes can be achieved through genuine and trusting relationships. Molly has strong interpersonal skills and can adapt her therapeutic use of self to suit each individual and build meaningful rapport.
Molly's passion lies within working with children. She understands the importance of a holistic client/family-centred approach and recognises the value of considering one’s wider environments and contexts when working on goals. She acknowledges the expertise of families/caregivers and schools, valuing their importance within a child’s therapy journey. She believes in meeting children and families where they are at and tuning in to a child’s interests throughout therapy sessions. She also understands the importance of delivering evidence-based interventions.

Molly is a ‘people person’ who receives energy from those around her. Growing up in a country town, she has a strong sense of community. Molly brings extensive experience working with children across various roles. Currently, Molly is also an experienced swimming instructor, specialising in teaching infants and young children. She hopes to be able to integrate these skills within future OT sessions. Outside of work Molly enjoys playing sport and spending time at the beach.
Molly is looking forward to working alongside children and their families to help empower them and assist with working toward their desired goals.
