Elena is a dedicated and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist with experience in paediatric care, assistive technology, and both adult and paediatric mental health. She is passionate about enhancing individual’s lives through holistic care and evidence-based interventions.

Elena’s interest in paediatric occupational therapy stemmed from her time at university and was further reinforced through hands-on experience during clinical placements and when working as a support worker.  She has a particular passion for working with children and their families to support development, independence, and well-being in everyday activities.

​

Elena first joined our team during a nine-week student placement in 2024 and later worked alongside Anne Basedow as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in Term 4. During this time, she quickly built strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues, demonstrating her ability to create a supportive and engaging therapy environment.

​

She completed her Occupational Therapy studies at the University of South Australia in 2024, graduating with First Class Honours. Her academic record was also recognised through Merit Awards in 2022, 2023, and 2024.

Elena is excited to embark on this new role as an Occupational Therapist, bringing her skills, enthusiasm, and commitment to delivering high-quality care to the children and families she works with.
