Elena is a hardworking and energetic final-year occupational therapy student and a Bachelor of Science graduate. She is strongly dedicated to enhancing individuals' lives through holistic care and evidence-based interventions. She will graduate from her studies in November 2024.

 

Her academic background and hands-on experience through university placements have honed Elena's exceptional communication skills. Her compassionate and friendly attitude, along with her particular strengths in communication/collaboration, initiative, and resolving customer/client concerns through building positive relationships, make her a confident and effective communicator.

We were fortunate to have Elena with us for one of her nine-week student placements earlier in 2024. She has been working alongside Anne Basedow as an OT assistant in Term 4. Elena has been able to easily develop relationships with children and families, and when she graduates, she will be able to continue to work with these children as an OT.

Elena has been working as a support worker and also as a retail assistant at Novita Tech during her studies.
